CDI now a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, bringing important new benefits to customers
Recently named a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, CDI qualifies for special pricing on software licenses and now has access to tools that ease installation of Windows operating systems. Customers of CDI will receive greater assurance that they are purchasing a top quality secondhand computer with valid Microsoft licenses, and will gain better access to software updates and enhancements in the future.
CDI joins a select group in the Registered Refurbisher program, which is targeted in part to educational institutions, nonprofit charitable organizations and other special groups. Members have to pledge they will perform a complete data wipe on each computer, install only licensed Microsoft software with valid Windows Certificates of Authenticity, and meet environmental standards in the refurbishing process.
In return, Microsoft gives refurbishers a proprietary tool that simplifies the installation of Windows operating systems for different computer models.
Customers benefit by having a smoother path to upgrades. They also have access to Microsoft web-based support, in addition to the top-notch customer service that CDI supplies.
