Education leader to work with CDI
Michael Bator, a respected education industry thought leader, has been engaged by CDI as a consultant to help broaden its reach in the school sector.
“as CDI continues to grow, there’s nobetter person to help lead a company dedicated to meeting the technology needs of schools and students today,” said Saar Pikar, the company’s general manager. “We are thrilled and honored to have him accept such a key position.”
Bator most recently founded Haig Boulevard, a firm that advises private-sector companies looking for opportunities in the education market.
Before that, he led the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, which consists of 121 elementary schools and 23 secondary schools in the Toronto region.
Bator has spoken at numerous international education summits and has worked with the governments of China, Korea, UK, Norway and South Africa to further the cause of international collaboration on education.
