National Geographic Learning's Financial Algebra has been approved for use in Mesa Public Schools' high schools in Arizona. The algebra-based, technology-rich program is developed for and aligned to the Common Core State Standards that use Algebra I skills in a financial setting.

Apex Learning is expanding its Apex Learning Tutorials to middle school students. The new Tutorials include Math 6, 7, 8 and English language arts 6, 7, 8. Tutorials are tablet-ready for Android and iOS devices as well as netbooks, laptops and desktop computers.

Kickboard released an enhancement to its instructional management solution. Using the new bubble sheet grading feature, powered by GradeCam, teachers can instantly grade multiple-choice assessments using their computer’s web camera with scores being immediately available in Kickboard.

Lightspeed Systems's Mobile Manager is now integrated with Apple’s Device Enrollment Program. Mobile devices can be enrolled in Mobile Manager wirelessly with policies already in place. Schools will also have more control, particularly the ability to prevent users from removing Mobile Manager profile and policies.

Microsoft is officially releasing an advertisement-free version of its Bing search engine to all eligible K12 schools in the U.S. In addition, the no-charge Bing in the Classroom will automatically and strictly filter to help block adult content and disable the use of student searches for targeted advertising.
