The assessments for Triumph Learning's new Waggle for the Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium (SBAC) include 26 different item types. Smarter Balance is one of two multi-state consortia awarded funding from the U.S. Department of Education in 2010 to develop a Common Core-aligned assessment system by the 2014-2015 school year.

The SME Education Foundation’s Partnership Response In Manufacturing Education (PRIME) initiative has selected six new high schools in Montana, Kentucky, California, Florida and Ohio to participate in its program. After piloting the Lexia Reading Core5 program in six schools, La Mesa-Spring Valley School District has expanded the program to include all of its 17 elementary schools. Palm Springs USD has implemented the program as an essential part of their literacy curriculum. Colton Joint USD and Newport Mesa USD have expanded usage to 24 and 18 additional schools, respectively.

A new collaboration with Khan Academy will enhance teacher and student access to personalized instructional resources linked to student scores from Northwest Evaluation Association's Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment. Teachers can use RIT scores from MAP and MAP for Primary Grades to identify instructional resources in math via Khan Academy.
