ACLU asks court to stop subpoenas in Montclair Board of Ed probe

Lawyers from the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey are seeking a court order to quash a subpoena issued by the Montclair Board of Education as part of its investigation into the public disclosure of student tests. The ACLU-NJ, representing an anonymous client who uses the name “Assessmentgate,” will appear this morning at 9 before the Judge Thomas R. Vena in Essex County Superior Court.
