Berkeley Schools Seeks New Leader

The Berkeley School Board kicked off the process to find a new superintendent Wednesday with a request for proposals from consulting companies able to lead the search.

The consulting firm will help with recruitment, screening, interviewing and selection, in addition to working with the board on soliciting community feedback about the qualities Berkeley residents desire in a new superintendent.

The board aims to approve a consulting agreement by February.
