Three southwest-area high schools could receive new buildings and another could get substantial renovations if voters approve a Houston school district bond package to go before voters in November.
The district's $1.89 billion bond proposal designates approximately $106.7 million to build a new campus for Bellaire High School. Another $64.5 million would be sued to build a new Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions, and $107.9 million would go for a new building at Lamar High School.
Another $40 million of the bond money would construct a partial replacement for Westbury High School.
