Carrollton (Mich.) Schools Promotes Principal to Superintendent

Tim Wilson will step in to Carrollton Public Schools in July as superintendent. The district outside Saginaw on Monday hired the Clinton High School principal, said Carrollton school board president Phillip Abney. Clinton Community Schools is in Lenawee County.

Craig Douglas, Carrollton's superintendent of 18 years, will retire at the end of the year.

Abney said Wilson is strong in curriculum and is a people person who is in touch with teachers and administrators.

“We feel that those were strong indicators that he would do well for us as superintendent,” he said.
