Chardon (Ohio) Schools Unveils Three Finalists for Superintendent Position

The next Chardon Schools superintendent will be chosen from a pool of three finalists, all of whom currently serve as area school district administrators.

The three finalists to replace retiring Joseph Bergant are Painesville City Schools Superintendent Michael P. Hanlon, Willoughby South High School Principal Paul Lombardo and Brunswick Schools Assistant Superintendent Joelle Magyar.

The Chardon School Board began the search process in October by working with Cheryl Ryan of the Ohio School Boards Association. A recruitment period, community and staff focus group sessions and interviews resulted in the selection of the final candidates.
