Chris Schnepp promoted to director of e-learning in Indiana

Fourth- and eighth-grade students at Alexandria-Monroe Community Schools will be outfitted with iPads this year as administrators continue to advance new technologies in the classroom.

Teachers received MacBook Air laptops and iPads last year, and the goal now is to begin incorporating those devices into classes.

“There's real dynamic change in how teaching and learning occurs,” said Alice Johnson, superintendent, adding “The way we assess students will change dramatically.”
