Coding clubs point to new direction in public schools

How early should students begin to learn the intricacies of computer programming? At least some students in four Jackson-Madison County high schools believe it should begin in high school. Thanks to a new program adopted by the school system, 80 students have signed up for coding clubs that will help them get in on the ground floor of this high-tech trend, and give them a leg up for post-secondary education and, hopefully, landing a good job.
