Duran Morgan began work at Harrison Hills as a government teacher in 2002. He has served as dean of students since 2010. As dean, he and other teachers conducted a comprehensive review, which contributed to Harrison Central becoming a fully-accredited high school.
"It gave us a tool from which to work form that point on to ensure that we are meeting the high standards of that accreditation by the Advance Ed Corporation. That was my focus then, that still is my focus now," he said, adding that he will continue the program of facilitating teacher collaboration and student centered instruction.
