Michael Osborne, currently superintendent at Hudson and Morenci schools is one of the semifinalists to be interviewed by the Tecumseh board. Another semifinalist is Kelly Coffin, a former principal in Onsted and Tecumseh and currently director of instructional services at the Lenawee Intermediate School District. The other three semifinalists are Camden-Frontier Superintendent Scott Riley; Sharon Irvine, executive director of human resources and director of auxiliary services at the Ypsilanti Community Schools; Breckenridge Superintendent Sean McNatt; and Carl Schultz, principal at Fitzgerald High School in Warren.
The slate of 15 applicants for the Tecumseh superintendency was whittled down to the five who will be interviewed at public meetings Jan. 29, 30 and 31 by the Tecumseh Board of Education. The interviews, at 7 and 8:30 p.m. each of the three evenings, will be in the Administrative Service Center, 212 N. Ottawa St.
The candidates were screened by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), and the finalists were selected following a closed session of the board Monday.
