Matt Frey, an education technology manager in Brevard Public Schools, was recently inducted as the president of the Florida Council of Instructional Technology Leaders. The council promotes cooperation and communication among district and state leaders who impact technology use in Florida schools.
“In the hands of skilled teachers, technology has shown itself to be a catalyst ingredient that leads to all kinds of promising instructional outcomes,” Frey said. “The next few years are going to mark an exciting shift in the way curriculum will be delivered across our state.”
FCITL, an affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education, is a state-wide organization that includes instructional technology representatives from Florida school districts, colleges, universities, and the department of education.
