Elementary school educators and students at Clover Flat Elementary School will be getting better acquainted with the digital age thanks to the Barona Band of Mission Indians, who answered a grant written by Donna Burton, the school’s second-grade teacher and assistant principal.
The school recently received a $5,000 Barona education grant, and will use the money to buy an iMac desktop, two MacBook pro laptops and two Canon camcorders, Principal Bill Dennett said, in part to “start documenting events at the school, make presentations at school assemblies and keep an historical video record of our school.”
