HB Construction lands $35 million New Mexico project

Albuquerque contractor HB Construction will soon begin work on a massive addition and renovation of Bernalillo High School.

The $35.1 million project will be a major step for the Bernalillo School District, giving it facilities to compete with some of the newer schools in surrounding areas, said Larry Perry II, HB’s general superintendant.

Construction is expected to begin next month and be completed in three phases through 2016. The school will remain operational during construction of the new buildings. The project was designed by Dekker/Perich/Sabatini.
