The Heyworth Education Association and Heyworth Board of Education have reached a tentative agreement on a one-year contract that continues the current salary schedule with no increase in base pay.
Eligible staff would be able to move accordingly on the salary schedule, said Superintendent Ty Wolf.
The board will vote June 19 on the tentative agreement, which affects 69 certified and 28 non-certified staff in a district with about 1,000 students.
The proposal also calls for decreased reimbursement for graduate hours and retirement incentives. Health insurance benefits were changed from a percentage to a flat dollar amount, with increases over that amount split between the employees and district.
