A construction project due to be ready in time for kick off this fall includes adding restrooms, a spirit shop and a shelter for the 200-member high school band at the football stadium.
This project is the next step in the district's effort to enhance the K through 12 campus.
"It opens up the stadium for almost 24 hours a day, seven days a week if we want to use it. The little leaguers will use it. Our soccer team will use it. Our football teams will use it. It's a needed and great thing for our community," says Richard Buchenic, Hubbard superintendent.
At the track on Hall Avenue, the district is ready to spend so they can spruce up the baseball and softball fields.
