The Hudson School District is asking residents to help generate ideas for long-range space solutions for its middle school and high school.
The district is open to any and all ideas at this point in the process, said district spokeswoman Tracy Habisch-Ahlin. Ideas can be submitted online through Nov. 30 and will be forwarded to the school board for review.
Hudson High School is at capacity and Hudson Middle School is over capacity, and the district has made finding a solution to the space problem a central goal. The district now finds itself back at the drawing board after its plan to build a new school at St. Croix Meadows Greyhound Racing Park in Hudson was effectively blocked by the Hudson City Council.
Ideas for space solutions will be forwarded to the school board for review, and the board will narrow down the ideas to a list of potential solutions in December.
