Illinois district names new technology director

The Winnetka Public Schools will have a new leader when its expanded iPad initiative begins this fall.

At its May 20 meeting, the Board of Education unanimously approved a four-year contract naming Maureen Chertow Miller as the new director of technology.

Miller, who now serves as the director of instructional technology at Deerfield High School, will begin her new position with District 36 on May 27.
