Ingalls Shipbuilding gives $107K to schools for STEM projects

Ingalls Shipbuilding is helping coastal students build robots, space buggies, bridges, rockets and roller coasters -- all while boosting their interest in science, technology, engineering and math -- through the help of about $107,000 in grants.

The Pascagoula shipyard gave 25 grants to schools in Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana today for use on a variety of STEM-related projects and competitions.
