Iowa District Hires New Superintendent

The Keokuk (Iowa) School District will soon have a new superintendent.

Tim Hood, 47, the superintendent of the Creston School District, which is about 75 miles southwest of Des Moines, has been named the superintendent of the Keokuk School District.

He will replace Lora Wolff, who is leaving the school district to take a teaching position at Western Illinois University.

Wolff became superintendent of the Keokuk School District in 2009, after former Superintendent Jane Babcock accepted the same position at the Prairie City-Monroe School District near Des Moines.
