Thomasville City Schools soon will have to search for a new superintendent.
Keith Tobin announced his retirement at the Thomasville Board of Education meeting Tuesday night. Tobin, who has worked with the school system for 29 years, said he decided to retire to spend more time with his family.
“It is the right time in my life to try something new. I am going to try to be with my family and my grandbaby. I hope to do some traveling. It’s just time,” Tobin said. “I have been blessed to be a part of this system, and now it’s time to move on to the next phase of my life.”
