Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS), a leading provider of blended professional development solutions for K-12 school districts and educators, today announced the launch of ‘The No-Nonsense Nurturer Classroom’ online course, based on The Center for Transformative Teacher Training’s (CT3’s) highly effective classroom management curriculum.
The No-Nonsense Nurturer (NNN) Classroom online course is a highly engaging 14-module learning experience addressing the NNN classroom management and classroom culture protocols, theories, and practices. Educators will learn how to implement the NNN Four-Step Model by reading course content, watching classroom videos and teacher interviews, and completing assessments to reinforce understanding. After completing the course, they will have the tools to significantly advance student motivation, participation, engagement, and achievement.
“Preparing students for the rigorous Common Core State Standards intensifies the need for effective classroom management. The No-Nonsense Nurturer model empowers teachers to take a firm yet nurturing approach to managing their classrooms to ensure every student gets the support he or she needs to succeed,” said Alvin Crawford, CEO of Knowledge Delivery Systems. “KDS partners with school districts to provide strategic systems of support to enhance classroom practice district-wide and help all students to be successful. The NNN Classroom course is an important addition to our fast-growing portfolio of best-in-class professional development content.”
“The No-Nonsense Nurturer model addresses real-world situations that educators face every day with the goal of developing meaningful relationships with youth and increasing students’ and teachers' success,” said Kristyn Klei Borrero, CEO and Co-Founder of CT3. “KDS’ interactive learning design and platform scalability will make it easier for school districts to deliver the NNN program to all educators as they transition to the Common Core.”
The NNN Classroom online course is presented by CT3 founders Lee Canter and Kristyn Klei Borrero, and includes comprehensive digital resources and dynamic video exemplars of master teachers in action, with real world examples of classroom management and student engagement at their best. Upon completion, educators take away actionable resources they can immediately use in their own classrooms.
KDS adapted the interactive NNN Classroom online course to be easy-to-use through its award-winning eClassroom™ interface. KDS also offers complete blended learning PD solutions for K-12 school districts, including customized virtual and on-site instructional coaching and other services, to support excellence in teaching practice.
