The LearnPad took home the show’s top prize as: “BETT 2013 Best Digital Device”. The LearnPad was one of 5 finalists among submissions from leading edtech, software, and hardware companies.

“The LearnPad was designed in the UK; and successfully implemented all over Great Britain. In 2012, the founders entered into an exclusive partnership with us here at ER™”, says Chris Klein - ER’s Director of Tablet Solutions.

“The collaboration has been incredible. Our investment expanding feature sets has schools quickly recognizing how simple and unique our “Purpose Built for Education” solution is”, adds Klein. “As a former Apple® Distinguished Educator™, the LearnPad is without rival in the ability to support one-to-one learning right out of the box. Add that we’re now customizing large district implementations and this is an example how a properly designed solution can integrate with existing technology and enhance local standards based instruction.”

The judges at BETT summed up LearnPad’s with these words: “This is the way tablets should be managed in a school environment. A great deal of thought has gone into the design to reflect the needs of schools and how they operate. Excellent online management system provided and very easy and quick to use. Excellent price. Impressive and convincing testimonials.”

The LearnPad solution includes three components that allow any teacher or school to safely deliver unlimited, digital curriculum & instruction anywhere. The LearnPad tablet; the LearnPad cloud-based management portal; and the LearnPad content store.

The LearnPad is available across the US, Canada, Latin and South America and the Caribbean exclusively by Educational Resources® and ER’s value added selling partners. “We investigated tablets for more than a year. We were committed to provide our districts with a tablet that was a solution not just a device.”, says Mike McKinstry, owner of Dallas, Texas based ProComputing, “With financing, warranties, and a program of professional development workshops – the ER LearnPad is it. Add in that it carries no access, subscription or renewal costs, it’s the most affordable too.”

The ER LearnPad is available now for $299. http://www.edresources.com
