Legislature must invest in our early education

It's graduation season, a time of year when students across the state leave high school and look forward to their college years.

We all know that college is important: a recent study showed that the pay gap between college graduates and everyone else is wider than ever. Studies also show that the opportunity afforded by college starts in preschool.

Kids who get to go to preschool score higher on the MCAS, are more likely to graduate and go to college, and get better-paying jobs. By making early education available to all students, we can give them a better chance at going to college, and a better shot at life.
