Lincoln (Neb.) Public Schools will now have two former Omaha-area school administrators on its executive team.
Liz Standish, 38, controller for Omaha Public Schools since 2007, was hired as the district’s new associate superintendent of business affairs, replacing Mark Shepard.
She will earn $190,000, which includes most benefits.
Shepard, who came to Lincoln five years ago from Fremont, will return there as the school district’s associate superintendent for a year. He will become superintendent a year later.
Standish also was a finalist for the Fremont job.
