The Loveland City School District is pleased to announce the addition of David Knapp to the administrative team; Knapp begins serving the district as the new technology director this August – a direct result of the community’s investment in the district with the passage of the May 6 operating levy.

“This is an exciting time to be a Tiger; the community’s partnership with our district provided us the resources to bring a professional to the administrative table who has rich experience in integrating technology into education to enhance instruction,” Loveland Superintendent Chad Hilliker said. “We are proud of the advancements our teachers have made in this area up to this point, and we are excited Mr. Knapp will be here to provide our staff with the continuing professional development necessary to add structure and consistency to those enhancements so they can be district-wide. We welcome him to our team.”

Knapp earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio University in 2007, and earned his master’s in instructional technology from the University of Nebraska Kearney in 2014. Knapp is working to earn his master’s in educational leadership from the University of Cincinnati. He began serving students as a physical science teacher in the Hamilton City School District (2008-present), and in 2012, in addition to his teaching duties, he was named a technology learning consultant for that district.
