Mass. Committee Looks Internally for Superintendent

The Randolph School Committee is first looking internally for a new superintendent.

In November, Randolph Superintendent Oscar Santos announced he would not seek contract renewal when it expires on June 30. He said he is leaving because his priorities were not aligned with the committee.

School Committee Chair Andrew Azer said a qualified internal candidate would be offered a one-year contract. At that point, the committee would evaluate if it needs to do another search.
