A class of Northwest Elementary School students thought they were dreaming Monday morning after each one was surprised with a fourth generation iPod Touch.
“It feels like a dream!” fifth-grader Amya Case said excitedly as she took her iPod out of its case. “I can take it off my Christmas list now.”
Tara Robinson’s fifth-grade class was randomly selected to win the iPods through the Jackson County Math Makes a Difference challenge. More than 1,900 students from kindergarten through eighth grade visited the campaign website and answered a math-related question, which put them in the drawing.
