Muhlenberg S.D. Tells School Board: We Need More Tech Funding

Without more funding for technology, Muhlenberg School District probably won't be able keep its computer systems up to date, administrators told school board members Wednesday.

"We're on a path of computers not being replaced for 10 years," said Daniel Houck, the district's technology director.

Computers should be replaced after five years and nearly half of the district's computers have already hit that mark, he said.

He added that printers, network equipment and interactive white boards also need replacing.
