Nebraska school recieves $1.75 million gift for career and tech addition

Construction on the new Kearney High School is underway, and now a $1.75 million gift is paying for an additional 10,000 square feet to the building.

Scott Morris a Kearney High grad and his wife Rochelle are donating that money for a Career and Technical Education Pathways Institute.

It will be named the Scott D. Morris Institute, and it will offer hands on experience in technical careers.
