New blended learning charter school proposed by Ohio district

The Norwood school district expects to be the second district in the region to start its own charter school this fall.

The new school won't be big – 25 students at most. It won't even have its own building. It will move into extra classrooms in the middle school.

But it will fill what district officials say is a crucial niche in that community: kids who want to go to a charter school and complete some of their coursework online.
