New Jersey High School Looks to Upgrade Technology

The Northern Highlands (N.J.) Regional High School's Board of Education heard a special presentation from the school's technology director, Mike Rightmire on the school's resources, hardware, current projects and future considerations.

Rightmire said the district's current projects include putting together a technology committee, made up of students, teachers, parents and administrators.

Rightmire's opinion is that at the top of the list, teachers' computers are "obsolete" meaning that "it is on the 5-year obsolescence plan – each computer is five years old. Now we're looking at what do we do to replace it."
