Super Duper Publications has a new entry into its line of Quick Take Along Mini-Books with the Social Skills Quick Take Along. This is the perfect pocket-sized resource for the busy, on-the-go educator or parent to help their children improve everyday pragmatic skills. In Social Skills Quick Take Along, students practice how to respond to common situations that arise in 15 practical day-to-day social skill areas — apologizing, feelings, giving/taking advice, initiating conversation, manners, personal safety, perspective, persuasion, politeness, requesting, school behavior, social skills & technology, staying on topic, telephone etiquette, and understanding sarcasm. With each topic, the adult chooses the target social skill and the child listens and responds to relevant questions.

In each case, the participants talk about appropriate and inappropriate ways to deal with each situation. Social Skills Quick Take Along has 61 pages featuring 600 questions in all. The 5” x 3” mini-book is spiral bound for easy page flipping or keeping it open to a specific page. It also allows the book to lie flat in order to view two pages at once. The pages are laminated, tear resistant, and easy to read.

Super Duper also offers Quick Take Alongs for grammar, vocabulary, critical thinking, auditory processing, WH questions, articulation, and phonology. To view these and a host of additional social skills products, go to the Super Duper website and type your key word(s) in the search engine.
