N.J. District Introduces Staff Social Media Policy

School district officials introduced a policy at a recent board meeting for staff use of social media networks.

The policy sets guidelines for faculty and other staff using networking sites on the Internet while working within the district.

“The social media policy sets up the parameters for appropriate staff use of technology as it relates to students and job responsibilities,” said Pennsville Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Brodzik.

“It outlines security and appropriate procedures for the use of district technology resources.”
