N.J. Principal Wins Award for Music Encouragement

As an advocate of music in schools and an encouraging supporter of the students in Woodstown High School, a local principal received the New Jersey Musical Educator Association Administrators Award.

Dr. Scott Hoopes was the only administrator in the state to receive the NJMEA award this year because of his loyalty to and strengthening of music in the high school.

The award is given every year to administration officials — principals and superintendents — recognizing them for their support and commitment the arts education in schools.
