N.Y. high school students used Facebook to cheat on exam

Twelve Long Island high school students have been disciplined for using Facebook to cheat on homework and laboratory assignments and a recent exam.

The superintendent of the West Islip school district told Newsday the ninth graders used the social media site to share answers.

Superintendent Richard Simon said they also posted a photo of an answer sheet to the exam for other students taking the teacher-created biology test.
