Ohio district to undertake $100 million demolition and construction project

The Lakewood city school district this summer will start preparing three elementary school buildings to be demolished and rebuilt.

The district also plans to replace the eastern half of the high school, which is the oldest part of the building.

School officials have been holding a series of informational meetings this month with parents at the schools that are part of the replacement plan – Lincoln, Grant and Roosevelt. Another public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Lakewood High School, 14100 Franklin Blvd., in the East Cafeteria.
