Ohio schools' report cards to be reissued following data scandal

Ninety-three Columbus schools will get new report cards because they wrongly withdrew at least one child in the 2010-11 school year.

That’s most of the schools in the district. There were 116 that school year.

Some of those schools clearly took “scrubbing” their student data to heart, vigorously ridding themselves in name only of dozens of children so that their absences or poor test scores wouldn’t count on the schools’ state report cards.
