Ohio STEM pilot, using NASA curriculum, exposes youth to tech-science

A new pilot program launching in Hamilton will introduce STEM curriculum to elementary and junior high students.

Tyrome Bembry, of Fairfield Twp., said he’s formed the foundation STEM2Dream with the goal of providing a space for after-school programs related to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) curriculum, as well as a place for educators to get additional training on teaching STEM courses.

Bembry said the pilot for his new after-school program will begin March 10 for 32 students from Hamilton City Schools. He chose to kick off the program in Hamilton because that’s where he was born and raised.
