Ohio tech academy now open to grades seven and eight

"New Tech Academy is a school of choice within Zanesville City Schools," saud Dr. Cosgrave. "And it's a college and career readiness path that students can choose. It's all project based. So we do authentic project so we do authentic projects that they would do out in the workplace with the skills that they learn in class."

Students are still Zanesville High School students, they just do everything in a project-style learning format versus the traditional lecture style. New Tech Academy is offered to students in grades 9 through 11 and this year, they're opening up the program to middle school students.
