Oklahoma Board of Education identifies bottom schools

State education officials have identified the nine Oklahoma schools most in need of a turnaround.

The schools identified for reform are called C3, which stands for College, Career and Citizen Ready. State workers will partner with local officials for the next three years to help bring academics up to standards.

The 2013 C3 schools are Dustin Elementary, Graham High School, Kenwood Public School, Mannsville Public School, Wewoka High School, Bodine Elementary in Oklahoma City, McLain Junior High and Burroughs Elementary in Tulsa and Marcus Garvey Leadership Charter School, an Oklahoma City charter school that recently lost its charter.
