Orange Schools (Ohio) to hire Dr. Edwin Holland as new superintendent

After an extensive search which included more than 45 candidates, the Orange City School District has hired Dr. Edwin S. Holland as its new superintendent.

The school board plans to approve his contract at its June 24 meeting. Holland will replace Dr. Nancy Wingenbach, who is retiring at the end of July after five years as superintendent.

Holland, a Stow resident, comes to Orange from the Cuyahoga Heights School District where he served for two years as its superintendent and was responsible for all aspects of its operations and instructional programming.
