Pennsylvania Auditor General Eugene DePasquale blasted the Reading School District today, saying it is "failing" the students of Reading.
DePasquale announced the findings of a major audit of the district during a morning press conference. The findings include of lack of proper accounting processes and policies that have put the district in financial turmoil.
DePasquale called the district's accounting the worst he's ever seen. His team provided the district with recommendations and will follow up in six months, he said.
