Pennsylvania board hires data collection-input supervisor

Chambersburg Area School District took steps to protect itself from data errors by bringing on someone to oversee the wide scope of state-mandated data collection and input.

The school board on Wednesday chose to hire Nevin Greesey as supervisor of data collection and integration, which was created within an approximately $1 million package of new positions several months ago. He will start April 16.

Greesey will be responsible for overseeing the accurate gathering and input of data to fulfill mandates from the state Department of Education.
