Pittsburgh Public Schools students rally for new student bill of rights

Pittsburgh Public School students who are members of TeenBloc at A+ Schools today rallied for the district to adopt a new student bill of rights.

The campaign theme is "we deserve to be served." The rally was at the Hillman Auditorium of the Hill House Association.

Kendre Crawford-Blue, a senior at Pittsburgh Milliones 6-12, also known as University Prep, in the Hill District said she realized on a visit to to the Carnegie Mellon University campus that "I wasn't even close to being ready for college."
