Police officers showed up at Columbus high schools this morning and into the afternoon to seize records the state auditor is seeking in his investigation of the district’s handling of data.
At about 12:30 p.m. investigators pulled up to Beechcroft High School on the Far North Side. Shortly after 11 a.m., investigtors carried empty boxes into Centennial High School, about half an hour later, they emerged with 2 full boxes.
As of 10:55 a.m., investigators had arrived at Northland High School. A police officer said he was escorting an investigator from State Auditor Dave Yost's office.
