It’s not unusual for 200 students to leave Whitehall during the school year — and have another 200 to enroll at the same time.
As it constantly works with fresh faces, the district has struggled in the past to help them make a year’s worth of academic gains.
But efforts to assess what kids know and provide help has led to three straight years of gradual improvement.
Now, Whitehall has earned a B on the state report card — the district’s highest rating. It’s among 10 central Ohio districts that received their highest rating with this state report card.
