The Springfield (Mo.) School District say it's making progress after a critical audit earlier this year.
In March, State Auditor Tom Schweich released a report looking at 14 areas of the district's operations.
Overall, it rated the district's financial operation as "fair" and expressed specific concerns over its handling of some real estate matters.
Now Darrell Moore, who is the auditor's chief litigation counsel, says it appears the majority of the audit findings have been implemented by SPS or are in progress.
